Commodore Carol Robinson and First Mate Chuck Eich

Romancing the C's
This will be Olympia Yacht Club’s 107th year and I am honored to be your Commodore. I will put forth every effort to continue the historic leadership shown by our Past Commodores and our members.
Our club is focused on community and the continued promotion of local events. We strongly support the military and are graced by their presence at several annual events including our Military Appreciation Day Cruise, “Foofaraw”, the springtime Navy luncheon, and recognition at our South Sound Opening Day festivities. We are also closely connected to our counterparts of the Grand XIV Yacht Clubs and share numerous social events throughout the year which fosters great camaraderie.
The Olympia Yacht Club is active with numerous sailing activities including the Junior Sailing Program, the Toliva Shoals Race, as well as our South Sound racing agenda.
Our committed volunteers fill in all the “gaps” and that makes Olympia Yacht Club an amazing club! I personally believe that OYC members are the best example of true friends in the boating community. Members share with us, count on us and comfort us. They essentially become an extension of our families by improving the quality of our lives, raising our spirits with laughter, and they ask nothing in return.
All the leadership of OYC is volunteers and freely gives their time for the betterment of the club. I will work toward improving the flow of communication between all members of this great club. I also recognize that our Board of Trustees has a large agenda to cover. I welcome being involved with change for the betterment of the club and its members.
Chuck & I look forward to representing you, boating with you, seeking new adventures and continuing our involvement with one of finest yacht clubs in the South Puget Sound region.
